The French Film Days With PSE

The 2nd French Film Days of Phnom Penh will take place from October 31 to November 4, 2022!

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of their film school, Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE) is organizing the 2nd edition of the French Film Days in Phnom Penh. During this event, 3 French directors, Arthur Harari, Claire Simon and Kim Chapiron will be in Phnom Penh to present some of their films and lead practical workshops with the students.

A first edition was organized in 2019 and was a great success, thanks to the presence of the guest of honor Claire Denis, a French director who has won many awards. She came to present a selection of her films and conducted several master classes for students but also for young Cambodian directors.

This second edition is a cinema event which, in addition to celebrating the school’s 10th anniversary, will allow the public to discover French-language films never before seen in Cambodia and to meet the directors who made them. It is also an opportunity for the students of the film school of PSE to meet these artists, to study their work and to learn from them on concrete projects.
