French Government Scholarship 2023-2024 : Call for applications !
This scholarship program is aimed at all Cambodian students wishing to continue their studies in France for a Master or Doctorate. You have until January 15, 2023 at 5PM to submit or send your application files to the SCAC of the French Embassy in Cambodia.
WHO CAN APPLY?
French Government Scholarship : Call for applications
Two types of scholarships will be granted :
- For masters degrees : duration of 10 months a year ;
- For Ph.D. : duration of 18 months over the 3 years of the thesis.
This call for application extends to all Cambodian students and young researchers who want to study or continue their research in a French university. All applications in every field of studies will be considered, with preference given to the fields of :
- international and public law ; economy ; linguistics ; history and archaeology ; anthropology ;
- agroecology ; vulnerabilities and inequalities in access to and uses of natural resources ;
- engineering sciences : mechatronics ; network and telecommunications ; energy engineering; industrial engineering ; food engineering ; water and environmental engineering ;
- Arts: art, design, fashion, music, architecture, 3D.
HOW ?
Before applying, please read very carefully the French Government Scholarships explanatory note :
The form and all the attached documents have to be submitted to the Cooperation and Cultural action department (SCAC) of the French Embassy in Cambodia.
Submissions have to be made by e-mail at the Embassy of France to [email protected]

COFUNDING
Applications with a co-funding (from a Cambodian ministry or university, a French university, a research laboratory, or a private partner) will be favored.
You want to do a PhD in Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)?
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) of Cambodia offers 5 new scholarships every year, cofinanced by the French Embassy.
This program is for students wishing to come back to work in Cambodia as university teachers and researchers after their PhD.
