At the end of the 17th century in England, Mrs Herbert asked Mr Neville, a renowned landscape painter, to make twelve drawings of her husband’s estate. In return, she undertakes to let the artist enjoy her favors. The latter will accept the deal and will understand too late that it has been used to serve a completely different purpose.
