On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, don’t miss the screening of the documentary film “Bigger than us” in the garden of the Institut français du Cambodge!
This beautiful documentary, presented at the latest Cannes International Film Festival, follows seven young activists in search of justice, from the favelas of Rio to the remote villages of Malawi, via the island of Lesvos and the mountains of Colorado. All over the world, teenagers and young adults are fighting, sometimes risking their lives, for human rights, the climate, freedom of expression, social justice, access to education or food. They protect, denounce, care for others. It is this youth that director Flore Vasseur went to meet.
Following the screening, a debate will be held on the following theme: How to promote the civic engagement of young people in favor of Human Rights, Education and the Environment?
