Cinema | Little Everyday Adventures

A program of three short films full of tenderness and poetry to cultivate the pleasure of cinema screenings in our little ones, but also in the older ones. Because there is no age for beautiful things!

⦿ The Song of the Sperm Whale by Adeline Faye – 2022
A gigantic white sperm whale finds itself stranded in the middle of a city. Around the dying animal, people grumble and complain, cars are immobilized. On a school bus, a little girl learns a poem for school. When she goes out to see what is happening, she decides to approach the beast. She will let herself be intrigued and carried away by the sperm whale’s song of agony and, by accompanying it, she will lead the people of the city to consider the animal differently and to live a collective, strange and musical experience.

⦿ Between Two Sisters by Clément Céard and Anne-Sophie Gousset – 2022
Between two sisters, there is complicity and laughter, there is love as the driving force, there is a little something extra and that’s very good.

⦿ Akissi, by Marguerite Abouet, Louise and Baptiste Grosfille – 2022
Based on the original comic book published by Gallimard Jeunesse “Akissi” by Marguerite Abouet and Mathieu Sapin, inspired by the graphic world of Clément Oubrerie. Akissi is a little girl, the youngest of her siblings, who dreams of having a little brother or a little sister. While she is on her way to the market, she meets a cute little monkey that she names “Boubou”. After going through a series of adventures with him and his friends, she will have to face a new challenge: convincing her family to welcome the little prankster monkey as her new little brother!
