With respect to the health situation in Cambodia and the security measures that the Institute has been set up to guarantee the safety of its users, no public opening is planned for this exhibition.

Beat Streuli is a Swiss artist of European and international renown. His understanding and practice of visual arts involves photography, video and multimedia installations. His work has recently been published in a highly prestigious publication, recently presented at the Center Pompidou in Paris, and published in Lars Muller Publishers in Switzerland.

He is known for his street portraiture, in which he documents the daily life on the streets of big cities. His work is regularly shown and acquired by the various museums and art centers of the world, such as the Guggenheim Museum of New York, the Tate Gallery of London, as well as the Palais de Tokyo of Paris. His installations are visible in the airports of Frankfort, Germany or Dallas, USA, where they are exhibited permanently.

He participated in the residency led by Marie Le Mounier in Phnom Penh and produced several series of images, some of which are now visible on the wall of the Media Library. (Read the article)
