With support from Cambodia Airports, the French Institute has invited French photographer William Ropp to work with a dozen of students from Studio Images (the photography workshop of the French Institute).
These photography workshops will take place on the ground of both Phnom Penh’s and Siem Reap’s airports, and will focus on William Ropp’s artistic fields of expertise: portrait and human beings.
The photography works by William Ropp and Studio Images’ students will be shown during an exhibition: don’t miss the opening on the 3rd of September!
William Ropp worked in theatre before he started a photographic career in 1988. He created a dreamy photographic series featuring African children, which are gathered in the book “Mémoires rêvées d’Afrique”. In 2012, la Maison européenne de la photographie (Paris, France) and le Musée de la photographie in Belgium presented a retrospective of his work.
