Trained in contemporary design in France, teaching in two prestigious art schools in Phnom Penh, Em Riem is a proeminent figure of the current Khmer artistic creative renewal. His polymorphous work is often uncategorisable, evolving between visual arts, installations, sculptures or performances. It questions, by the use of local materials, the essential relationship between man and the many cycles of Nature.
For this exhibition, Em Riem made the decision to create his installation as a spectacular, lyrical and mysterious environment.
Opening on Thursday 07 March 2019 at 6:30pm
