The Institut Pasteur of Cambodia, through its Epidemiology & Public Health Unit, conducts researches including observational studies as well as outbreak investigations, prevalence studies, intervention studies and clinical trials. All of these studies are done in collaboration with clinicians as well as local and international researchers on adults and children, either hospitalized or healthy.

What are the ethical challenges of these studies? How can researchers lead ethical studies of quality to the benefice of the patients in developing countries?
